Saturday scooter run..

There is going to be a run, (poker run that is) on Saturday to benefit a couple of women.  I don't know what their problem is, but Fred called me and wondered if I might be interested in going.

It will be about 86 miles with 4 pit stops along the way.  I told Fred if the weather holds, I would enjoy it.  We would go as far South as Goshen then back thru Marcola and end at the Frontier room in Sweet Home.

Easter's a comin...hide the eggs.

Well, Easter is on the way and a little earlier than we would normally expect it.  

I see that the chickens are starting to hoard their eggs and the stores are flooded with all kinds of coloring stuff to pretty em up.

I like mine in an egg salad sandwich so maybe I will buy some and then boil em up.

Well favor has found me this day, I actually have Ralphy with me here at the homestead and he is good company even if he is just an old dog.  One thing for certain is that I don't have to do much beyond scratching under his chin to make him happy.

Funny how that is.  Wish it were so easy to appease the people in my life.  Not to worry too much though, I would rather feed the dog steak and the people pedigree.  Not really, but sometimes it seems like a good idea...

Geeezzz louise, I cannot believe the things that people will post on a public forum.  Those folks (like myself) that post to the 'Rants and Raves' section can come up with stuff that will really raise your hair.  I am most often a responder rather than an original poster.  I don't post all my comments, but now and then there is a post that just cries out to me to respond.  I don't use the foul language that some do and don't believe in the personal attack methods of expression but I do manage to get my point across.

It's up, it's running

Well, it is what it is and I won't change it for awhile.  The sun is shining thru the rain...how hopeful is that??  Not riding today.
